National Spay Alliance Foundation/Savannah is dedicated to offering low-cost, high-quality veterinary options to the community. Our mission is to end the tragedy of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation and homelessness by providing accessible spay/neuter and medical services.

You’ll be joining a team led by an experienced clinic manager and seasoned staff who’ve been with us for years. Our clinic may be just five years old, but we’re growing steadily—and we’re always open to new ideas. Want to introduce a new modality? We welcome any opportunity to expand our services and elevate the care we provide.
Medical Appointments Only no surgery: We are offering 2 choices of schedule.
Part-time: Mon 2:00pm-6:00pm/Tues 8:45am-6:00pm/Thurs 8:45am-6pm/Fri 2:00pm-6:00pm. Approximately 28-30hrs p/week. Last appt. booked for 5:00pm.
Full-time Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8:45am-6:00pm. Last appt. booked for 5:00pm. Approximately 38-40hrs p/week.
We are closed on weekends and Wednesdays for four-day work week.
We are not a full-service clinic. We do not hospitalize, and we do not have x-ray. We have in-house blood machines and an outside lab (Antech). We have an array of in-house tests.
We see a wide variety of medical cases—each one interesting, challenging, and an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine that keeps you engaged and growing.
We welcome walk-ins for vaccinations and heartworm testing—no appointment needed. Our team is here to make preventive care easy, accessible, and stress-free for pets and their families.

Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, which may forgive the entire balance of eligible Direct Loans upon meeting all requirements.
Four-day workweek, no on-call duties, and no emergencies. Commitment to work-life balance with an 8:45am or 2:00pm start, last appointment at 5:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The clinic is closed on Wednesdays and weekends.
Six paid holidays, 80 hours of vacation, and 30 hours of paid sick leave.

Qualifications:
Patient care: Conduct thorough physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, and perform surgery.
Preventative care: Administer vaccines, perform parasite control, and provide advice on diet and nutrition.
Diagnostics: We utilize a range of tools—including in-house laboratory testing—to accurately diagnose medical conditions and guide effective treatment plans.
Client communication: Explain diagnoses and treatment options, provide prognoses, and offer guidance on animal care.
Medication management: Prescribe medications and approve refills.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each animal.
End-of-life care: Counsel clients during difficult times and perform humane euthanasia when necessary.
Leadership qualities and willingness to contribute to the overall health and growth of the program. Interest in community-based medicine serving local rescues and shelter populations. Adherence to veterinary ethics and compliance with relevant statutes, policies, and procedures. GA State license or eligibility to obtain one. Experienced candidates preferred; self-reliant new graduates will also be considered.
