​​​​​​​Surgeon Only: For candidates interested solely in the surgical aspect, the schedule is as follows:

• Start at 7:30 a.m., performing 20-25 surgeries by 2:00 p.m. at the latest.

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, averaging 26-28 hours weekly. We are closed weekends and Wednesdays for four-day work week.

• No medical appointments are required.

• Potential pathway to ownership for interested candidates.

• A DEA license or eligibility to obtain one is mandatory.

Medical Appointments Only:

• We are not a full-service clinic. We do not hospitalize, and we do not have x-ray. We have in-house blood machines and an outside lab (Antech).

• Appointments begin at 2:30 p.m., booked at 30-minute intervals. The last appointment scheduled at 5:00 p.m.

• We are closed weekends and Wednesdays for four-day work week.

• Walk-ins for vaccinations and heartworm testing are accepted.

• Potential pathway to ownership for interested candidates.

• Average hours 24-26hrs per week.

Full-time Surgeon/Medical Doctor:

• This is a full-time position with salary and benefits. Salary starting at $130,000 for a full-time role encompassing surgery and appointments.

• Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with 20-25 surgeries completed by 1:30 p.m at the latest.

• Appointments start at 2:30 p.m., the last appointment is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. Scheduled at 30-minute intervals.

• Potential pathway to ownership for interested candidates.

Benefits for Full-time Doctor:

• Monthly medical insurance reimbursement (HRA), 401(k) with 3% match, and paid professional membership dues.

• Continuing education stipend provided. Supplemental dental, life, and disability insurance options available.

• Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, which may forgive the entire balance of eligible Direct Loans upon meeting all requirements.

• Four-day workweek averaging 40 hours—no weekends, no on-call duties, and no emergencies. Commitment to work-life balance with a 7:30 a.m. start, last appointment at 5:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The clinic is closed on Wednesdays and weekends.

• Six paid holidays, 80 hours of vacation, and 30 hours of paid sick leave.

Opportunities to enhance surgical and medical expertise, with support for adding new service modalities.

Qualifications:

• Proficient surgical skills, capable of completing 20-25 spay/neuter procedures (dogs and cats) within six hours, along with other soft tissue surgeries as needed.

• Ability to advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options, including prescribing medication.

• Provide counseling on end-of-life care for pets.

• Maintain accurate patient medical records.

• Leadership qualities and willingness to contribute to the overall health and growth of the program. Interest in community-based medicine serving local rescues and shelter populations.

• Adherence to veterinary ethics and compliance with relevant statutes, policies, and procedures. DEA license or eligibility to obtain one. Experienced candidates preferred; self-reliant new graduates will also be considered.
